Robert H. McGinnis has worked with author Kristie Miller since 2006, specializing in online historical, news and public records research.

He has also reviewed and analyzed primary documents from various manuscript collections including the Library of Congress, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library in Hyde Park, New York, and the Arizona Historical Society in Tucson, Arizona.

He co-edited (with Kristie MillerA Volume of Friendship: The Letters of Eleanor Roosevelt and Isabella Greenway, 1904-1953 (2009).

Other writings include articles published by the Florida Law Review and the Lawyer of the Americas (now the Inter-American Law Review). His poetry has appeared in Rolling Stone. As Robert Harrold, he published Cassadaga in 1979.

Robert began his career practicing international law in Miami. More recently, he worked in Washington, DC for Thomson Reuters teaching the Westlaw computerized legal research service to federal government attorneys. His clients have included lawyers from the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of State, the Pentagon and the EPA.

He holds a BA with high honors and a JD with honors from the University of Florida. In 1985, he received a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School.

Robert and his wife live in Great Falls, Virginia. They have two daughters.
